American Leak Detection to Receive Fair Franchising Seal of The AAFD

San Diego, CA - The American Association of Franchisees and Dealers today announced the AAFD's Fair Franchising Seal is being awarded to American Leak Detection, Inc., a Palm Springs, CA based franchisor.

The Fair Franchising Seal is awarded to franchisors who are nominated by their own independent franchisee association as having an exemplary record of franchising practices which embody equity, fairness and service to the organization. In order to earn the award, the nominated company must receive approval from at least 75% of its franchisees. A confidential survey was conducted by the AAFD, and a resounding 98% of ALD's franchisees voted in favor of the Award.

"We are very proud and honored to have been nominated, and ultimately to receive this prestigious award," said Richard Rennick, CEO of American Leak Detection. "I believe that working closely with all our franchise team members is a key element, and just one example of what fair franchising is all about." Curtis Lynn, Sr., Chair of the ALD Advisory Committee said, "I believe that the entire organization was deserving of this seal, from corporate headquarters to its newest franchise owners."

"The importance of the Fair Franchising Seal is that it rewards exemplary practices in the franchising marketplace," said Robert Purvin, Chairman of the AAFD. "With the AAFD Seal, franchise buyers have a legitimate standard by which to judge a franchise opportunity--an effective vote of confidence and approval by the system's own franchise owners."
