Karnath Appointed to Board

AAFD ANNOUNCES JAMES W. KARNATH TO ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 

 

The American Association of Franchisees and Dealers announced the appointment of James W. Karnath to its Board of Directors.   In this capacity, Mr. Karnath will be a member of the managing committee that operates as  the policy developing body for the Association.

 

Jim is President of CHECKCARE SYSTEMS of Columbus Ohio, the Leader in Check Security.  In 1995, he purchased the Columbus franchise and has been responsible for its overall business strategy and direction.  Previously, Karnath was a founding partner for the Checkcare operations in Norfolk and Richmond, Virginia, which were opened in 1991.

 

Currently, Karnath is on the Board of Directors of the Checkcare? Chapter of the AAFD, which advises the franchisor of Checkcare.   He also serves as the Education Chairman, for the Ohio Collectors Association and is an active member of Check Services Program of A.C.A., Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce, The Brain Trust (an entrepreneurial exchange group) and Ohio Grocers Association.
